To master the present situation of Junior and High school students of Ecological Education is the education foundation of institutions and school teachers.This study collectes the literature research Domestic and Foreign, analyzes the relevant Ecological Education of the existing research results, as the systematic theory basis of development of this project . Through the questionnaire research, understands the situation Ecological Education of high school children in Southern Jiangsu; Through interviews, understand the deep factors of Ecological Education . The results of the study show that:(1)The overall condition of Ecological Education in junior and high school in Southern Jiangsu is good, but the Ecological Education needs further strengthened ,(2)In ecological knowledge dimension, junior and high school students ecological knowledge mastery level is not very high,the knowledge that master higher mostly confined to daily life, and the knowledge related to the whole ecosystems, the whole biosphere knowledge is inadequate;(3)In ecological dimensions of consciousness, the ecological crisis consciousness and ecological aesthetic consciousness of students are stronger, but the protection of life, green consumption and sustainable development of consciousness is low;(4)In ecological behavior dimension, high school students love biological and protecting biological aspect of quality is higher, but the ecological monitoring and energy saving behavior is low, still cannot achieve sustainable development education requirements;(5)In ecological knowledge, ecological awareness and ecological behavior have difference significantly; Junior high school students in different sexes, schools attributes are differences, even significant; High school students in different sexes, schools attributes factors are differences, even significant ;(6)High schools in Southern Jiangsu carry out various forms of Ecological Education activity, but lack of specialized courses.
