Abstract


In recent years, the government portal website has become an important channel which makes government information public and provides services for society. However, each department has website construction alone. The fragmented construction cause a series of problems:narrowed information, repeated labor and increasing cost.This paper studies the development situation of the government portal website. The new Tianning District government portal website has dealt some problems of website construction, and designing some new columns according to web portals’ requirements. We have been investigating extensively, according to the People’s Republic of governmental information publicity statute law and district-level governments’requirement. Now we have established two different levels of government departments. Some departments with low visitor volume only request simple information release, thus we add some dynamic columns; some departments established sub sites and can share the public information resources. Through the management we realize the seamless interaction and the safety guarantee.We got gateway website and OA system integration. All officials can handle the same platform to deal with related affairs. Considering the security, different departments should choose different login background and CA text to realize different functions of government departments. And then we can reduce redundant construction and cost, even promote the departments and regions of information sharing and business linkage. Accordingly, our government will have the service-type image: transparent, credible, coordination and each department cooperation.At present, the website system has been put into use. Through the practical application, the visitor volume of the gateway website has greatly improved. We also cancelled many former sites on some departments’own, thus we solve the problems of submitting complex data and overmuch security issues. In a word, the application is effective. We get high and consistent praise from the superior and coordinative departments.
