Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are a class of compounds refers to two or more benzene rings connected together. In recent years, more and more domestic and international media attention of PAHs in the environment because of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons are carcinogenic, teratogenic, mutagenic three consistency. This article describes the law of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the type, nature, hazards, sources and migration; enrichment of solid samples, such as coal, waste rock, soil, river sediments and water of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, and test methods. Combined with the theories and methods of analytical chemistry, environmental chemistry, organic geochemistry, using traditional Soxhlet, liquid-liquid extraction, pre-processing technology and high performance liquid chromatography testing technology of Huainan mining area of ??raw coal - gangue - weathered gangue - soil, waste rock mixed samples - soil series, water - Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Sediments series composition, content, distribution and occurrence regularity and migration and transformation law a series of studies to explore the gangue heap in the weathering process on the surrounding environment media such as soil, water, and bottom sediment. By comparing different sampling area, the content of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the different samples, the environmental impact of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, and to provide a scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of mine environmental pollution. The test results show that the environment of Huainan mining area can be detected in the raw coal, waste rock, weathered waste rock, soil, surface water, underwater sediment PAHs, detected 16 PAHs in EPA regulations exceed U.S. EPA standards. Different sampling areas mining history tips stacked at different times, the consistent trend of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the sample. Gangue of PAHs in less than 50% of the coal and waste rock weathering process, PAHs reduced from 75% to 90%. Gangue PAHs in the mountain top and bottom of the weathered waste rock is basically the same, indicating that the weathering process, migration and transformation of PAHs by which the orientation of the impact on the waste dump. Gangue of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons can migrate to a nearby body of water, the soil. Contrast gangue and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the surface ponding found: general gangue, endowed with a substance, will have the components in the water column. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in coal gangue migration, resulting in the contamination of water bodies. Sediment PAHs detected species (9 to 11 species) than water (7 species) and more, content is also much higher than the water content. The waste rock pile the elevated lead mine soil, water bodies PAHs absolute volume, wide area, which should arouse enough attention parties, strengthen and carry out this research.
