Abstract


Chaoyang City, located in the west of Liaoning Province, known as the world's first bird flew first flower open. WebGIS spatial data, spatial data has multi-source, multi-semantic, multi-space-time, multi-scale and complexity of the data means and other features. Traditional Web language HTML is actually a text display language for the description and performance space information with congenital defects and deficiencies. With the increasing number of the type of information on the Web, HTML is not conducive to the performance of geospatial data problems gradually exposed to new Web language to describe the spatial information. The emergence of the Extensible Markup Language (XML) is the inevitable result of the development of the Web. XML is the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) SGML standard simplifies formed markup language, which has become the carrier of the interaction of structured information on the Web, provides the ideal solution for the interoperability of spatial data. SVG text style vector graphics description language developed by the W3C organization, is a subset of XML. SVG is a flexible and easy-to-use, support interactivity, animation, graphics standards is a next-generation network, brings a new opportunity for the development of WebGIS. On the basis of access to a large number of domestic and foreign References the WebGIS technology development status quo and summarized discusses current WebGIS development facing some technical difficulties, introduces the XML, SVG concept and suitable for WebGIS characteristics discussed XML, SVG WebGIS development. The combination of these, the National Geological Park of Chaoyang, Liaoning WebGIS overall design and development, system SVG for spatial data organization and manifestations, as the organizational form of attribute data in XML. Instances confirmed the technical means fast response speed, versatility, ability to interact, running and high efficiency, it extends the field of application of the XML / SVG, travel GIS release a new model of the system.
