Abstract


Meng zi had respected the subjective of soul .in the period of Song and Ming Dynasty, psychologist occupied themselves with the important historical task again .in the course of they studied to be the sage, and in the course of they learn the justice, they had extraordinarily attached importance to consciousness. They wanted to make ethic become the voluntary appetite from the exterior order. The theory had respected selfhood impersonally, although the outcome was not their original idea. This conversion was undergoing from Lujiuyuan to Wangyangming to Liuzongzhou .Lu took himself for inheritor of Mengzi . He inherited Mengzi ’s heroism personality .He advanced the epistemology that "my soul is universe ". He thought "soul "could obtain the justice and hold it immortally, "soul" is justice. So he made the center of epistemology be in the intellection of soul, soul became the carrier of perfect personality. Though Lujiuyuan called for the consciousness, and claimed everyone to clutch at the major idea before doing everything, he had no material means to do it. It made his theory barren. Wangyangming had offset this miss. He appended idiographic content to soul. That is "conscience ". He regarded conscience as the headstream of morality and criterion between right and wrong. He thought that if we got rid of obstacle of soul and implemented conscience thereunder the criterion, we would obtain the justice and become the sage. The theory is a great progress. At now, we often make conscience as the criterion of right and wrong. Apparently, Yangming found a perfect means to learn justice, but he was resting on realization of soul uniformly and refusing to contact thing. So conscience became a empty word. To remedy it, Liuzongzhou conceived a integrated moral philosophy. He made the theory that we should be wariness to keep soul spry. From this time, theory about personality was a approach to be a sage. This theory has a immense infection as far as now.
