Abstract


Textile industry has been the traditional industries in Zibo City. It plays an important role in their local economic and social development. However, the textile industry is a labor-intensive industries and low level of the information, which have restricted the further development of the whole regional industry. The textile medium and small enterprises (SMEs) in Zibo have some common problems are given as follows: (1) The business process management mode lag and the process management relies on artificial process; (2) The different departments uses different systems, which causes that the data is not fully shared and integrated; (3) The enterprise considered that the hardware, the concepts and the construction are more importance than the software, the results and the maintenance. Therefore, this article features in the industry for the region, designs and develops the order-driven textile business process management system. The system is to reduce the unnecessary and complicated manual labor, improve the efficiency of the work of the textile SMEs. So, it has great practical significance for the SMEs.This article is based on the software development technology in J2EE development platform. Firstly, an overview of the system development background, related technology and the architecture is given. Then, for the practical problem in Zibo Textile SMEs, three main modules in order management system including order flow management module, order flow monitoring and management module are designed. The order management system solves the practical problems of the business process management in textile industry. In the future, the system will be promoted and spread to more SMEs.
