Abstract

As China's western loess area infrastructure development , development in the loess shallow cave on a dark road construction and safe operation constitutes a serious threat , and some have serious consequences , so the research highway loess effective stability evaluation method for the dark cave loess region roadbed processing and design has a very important role in guiding this paper stochastic medium theory, the stability of highway loess hidden cave were exploratory analysis and evaluation . In this paper, based on stochastic medium theory loess hidden cave stability evaluation of a new method, a simplified loess hidden cave geometric model and equivalent mechanical model . The application of the method to calculate and analyze the different shapes, sizes and depths of the dark hole caused by loess and the extent of surface deformation ; calculated under different parameters loess thickness of the dark cave of criticality safety ; respectively, surface deformation and roof structural strength as the evaluation of loess the basis for the stability of the dark cave , hole shape analysis and critical parameters on surface deformation safe thickness influence on the stability of loess hidden cave were exploratory study ; qualitative analysis of the safety factor , the ground load and the relationship between the thickness of the criticality safety ; this method with several other methods of calculation results are compared , discussed various methods for rationality ; envisages a method based on stochastic medium theory applied in practical engineering work steps . Through this study , the following main conclusions: ( 1 ) dark hole caused by the subsidence of the size and distribution of the dark hole depth not only relevant , but also the dark cave section size , formation characteristics. ( 2 ) dark cave maximum surface subsidence caused major impact angle with the ground , dark hole section size , dark hole radius parameters such as convergence value increases with the depth of the dark hole decreases . ( 3 ) With thick dark cave dark cave criticality safety section size , dark hole radius of convergence value , safety factor, ground load and other parameters increases. Dark cave critical security impact on the formation thickness insensitive to changes in angle . ( 4 ) the scope of the surface with the dark hole depth , section size increases , with the formation impact angle increases.
