Abstract


With the social development, the accelerated pace of life, national exchanges become more frequent, the endless stream of new things, making the language a lot of constantly emerging abbreviations. Abbreviations in today’s society is playing an increasingly important role, with the ultimate goal is to meet the needs of social life, with the most economical means to exchange information, exchange of ideas, purposes, and thus to facilitate people’s lives. Chinese and English abbreviations acronyms are widely applied to various fields, but also Chinese and English abbreviations research has gradually become a hot spot.This article will explain in five parts: the first is the introduction, describes the purpose and meaning of this article topics, and domestic and international research on the dynamics of the abbreviations general historical review, and then explain the theoretical basis of this article and research method.
