Abstract


Today's Internet development by leaps and bounds , not only technically but also in the storage of information provided by the Internet , and access to . The Internet has brought a convenient way for people to access and exchange information , but with the explosive growth of information on the network , at the same time bring to the user to retrieve information difficult . Therefore, the meaning of existence of the Internet has not only manifested in the user can obtain information \content of interest . Ontology the way to a solution to the problem with the use of ontology , the information can be expressed as knowledge, and this knowledge is machine readable , it allows users to semantic retrieval of information , thus greatly improving the user search check precision. This paper discusses the the ontological semantic retrieval ; learn from the thesaurus structure thinking , analysis thesauri to ontology transformation ; given application XML , RDF and the W3C recently developed OWL language constructs ontology library and corresponding ontology library analytic tools ; brief introduction to the process of development of historical events in the J2EE framework , ontology and semantic retrieval system . The full paper is divided into five parts : The first part introduces the basic concepts of the ontology development status and basic knowledge ; clarify the meaning of semantic retrieval , explain how the ontology technology to solve the problems encountered in the semantic retrieval . Second part, introduced the concept and structure similar to the ontological thesaurus , explains the difference between the two ; introduce thesauri in the international famous ontological project ; analysis of how to learn from Syria vocabulary structure ideas to construct the ontology . The third part of the research and application of latest W3C Web Ontology Language OWL technology to establish a method of ontology model . OWL norms , principles, syntax, semantics .
