Abstract


Digital TV middleware technology is based on a digital TV receiver device driver layer, as interactive applications to provide a complete application programming interface system software technologies. With the rapid development of digital television technology and people's living requirements of the entertainment that changes in digital TV receiver set-top box middleware embedded systems have become an indispensable choice. This paper briefly introduces the development of digital TV standards in several organizations , as well as digital TV set-top box middleware in the status and role of the basic concepts of digital television middleware and its features in depth exposition ; Secondly, the paper describes the Media Beacon system design principles , system architecture , functionality , and other system components , digital TV middleware makes people have a more clear understanding , while the subject of this thesis : in the digital TV middleware for embedded HTML browser the specific research and development environment has a complete understanding . This article focuses on the study of digital TV set-top box web browser , especially for ViewML browser made ??a comprehensive , in-depth research , and will it be transplanted and with MBT systems integration. This paper also studied ViewML browser dependent modules : Flnx and Libwww protocol library , HTML parser , Hypertext Transfer Control Protocol (HTTP) and File protocols ; authors implemented a ViewML browser with MBT transplantation and system integration , especially ViewML object organization methods and event handlers made ??a great optimization methods , and set-top boxes based on the actual needs and limited hardware resources were made to the original code streamlining and optimization.
