Abstract


With the continuous development and improvement of the 3G mobile communication networks , the service area of the mobile network has been extended to the outside of the coastal waters and even line-of-sight . In order to meet the mobile users in the offshore areas and waterways on the demand for wireless communication networks , mobile communication network planning and optimization project , the urgent need to have a reasonable prediction accuracy and radio propagation models for sea propagation environment . The introduction of mobile communications radio propagation environment and traditional radio wave propagation model based on analysis of the sea radio wave propagation characteristics : mobile network for sea covering the base station sites are usually chosen high in the coastal , radio waves can propagate to very far from the sea on the Earth's curvature will radio wave propagation impact . According to the radio wave propagation characteristics , according to the receiving point to the distance to the transmitting antenna , the waters radio propagation distance is divided into three regions : A segment ( from the base station to the base station the visual distance ) , segment B ( from the visible distance of the base points to the base station and the point of the visual distance of the terminal merge ) and C segments ( over the base station and the terminal merged the Earth shadow area of the visual distance point ) , and were calculated by the path loss of the respective areas , and proposed the sea radio propagation model algorithm . In addition , in order to verify the practicality of the the sea spread of model , the paper also carried a CW (continuous wave ) test , using the measured data propagation model calibration using two methods : either use the the sea propagation model algorithm Zhuhai Insight WCDMA, the Dingli wireless network planning method is to use standard propagation model algorithm AIRCOM network the planning software Enterprise4.1 version . Finally, we corrected the results of these two models were compared to prove the predicted effect of the the sea spread of model of the the sea propagation environment has better coverage .
