With the shift transmission network by MSTP packet transport network (PTN) Evolution of communication services from circuit switching to packet switching , and clock synchronization PTN important and must be addressed . The solution of this problem the industry mainstream , tend to use the IEEE 1588 protocol ( PTP ) . This paper studies the impact of PTP synchronization accuracy of the key factors , in order to do a quantitative analysis of the impact , the paper system level simulation platform based on the PTP packet transport network clock synchronization based on OPNET Moder10.0 structures . First, based on the T-MPLS technology to build a packet transport network node model , and then configure a static link simulation topology in both ends of the link based on the the IEEE 1588V2 agreement to build a master-slave clock model , and introduced in the router the transparent clock function of the agreement . Configured on the platform for a series of simulation scenarios , the simulation is run , collecting the simulation data router service rate , data processing , analysis , data averaging algorithm , a low-pass filter , and whether the router has a transparent clock function and other factors synchronization accuracy. Through the analysis of a large number of simulation results , the following conclusions : the service rate of the router lower clock single measurement error and clock drift ( long-term stability ) ; averaging algorithm has a great influence on a single measurement error , but clock drift was relatively small ; the filter calibration accuracy similar to the averaging algorithm ; transparent clock mode have a significant impact on reducing clock single measurement error and clock drift , can make the error of these two areas have decreased the number of times.
