Abstract


Intra-industry trade developed rapidly after World War II , a new form of trade . Intra-industry trade in the manufacturing sector of foreign trade has developed rapidly, and has become the main form of the manufacturing sector of foreign trade . In international economic activities , intra-industry trade can improve trade to participate in the country 's position in the international division of labor , the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure of the manufacturing industry , improve the technical level and manufacturing products of international competitiveness improved and so has a crucial impact on . Along with the trend of global economic integration , China's rapid economic development , the proportion of intra-industry trade in total foreign trade of China's manufacturing industry is increasing every year . This article is based on this fact to expand the analysis , based on a review of the academic origins and development trend of intra-industry trade theory , the main use of Grubel - Lloyd index and Green Naveh and Miller - industry trade types of metrics were calculated to analyze the type of the various sectors of China's manufacturing industry trade level of development and intra-industry trade in SITC categories . Through empirical analysis on China's manufacturing industry , trade , study of intra-industry trade in the foreign trade of China's manufacturing industry , come to the development of the economies of scale based industry trade is the inevitable result of China 's economic and trade development . Finally, the policy recommendations in this article on how to better promote the development of China's manufacturing industry trade and foreign trade commodity structure upgrade .
