Abstract


With the advent of the 21st century , human society from the industrial society to information society forward . The information has become an important factor of production and social development of strategic resources . Library information services face significant challenges and opportunities in the wave of information technology to promote the concept of traditional information services , means, methods and content has not suited to the development of the information age . The establishment of the network environment and the knowledge economy , the emergence of information services new challenges and higher requirements , information services presents many features and new trends , new issues and to the protection of intellectual property rights . This article is based on the thinking on these issues from the following five aspects were analyzed and put forward corresponding countermeasures . First , the proposed . Set forth herein topics in accordance with and study this question the necessity and significance . Second, the challenges faced by the library information service . Information service challenges facing the new situation and the main problems were analyzed and summarized . Third, the information society library information service type and trends .
