Abstract


Building a socialist harmonious society, focusing on rural areas and difficult in rural areas; Compulsory Education in China issues, with emphasis on rural and difficult in rural; girls' education is the most important of the compulsory education in rural areas, the most difficult. Girls 'education is not only for the girls' personal and family, but also for a nation's progress, social development is essential. This is because the girls are future mothers and their quality of status will not only affect their personal development, and may also give a direct impact on the future of the family, society, and future generations. In order to solve this problem of compulsory education in rural girls, the paper designed two sets of questionnaires: girls / students and farmers / parent questionnaires and surveys in China's central and western rural areas of eight provinces in the Compulsory Education of girls. Which girls / student questionnaire, the content is mainly related to: the basic situation of the girl child, number of siblings, parents' level of education and whether they work outside the home, school leavers distance, whether to live on campus, is like reading their reasons, the parents of the children to study attitude, the next ideal career, the status of the class and social education of girls is great importance to the contents of the suggestions and views of rural compulsory education and the education of girls. The farmers / parent questionnaire, the content is mainly related to the number of: gender, age, career education, population and the number of children in the home, home to work, home last year economic income and expenditure, reading the number and the reason of the number of children out of school children, boys and girls education the attitude of local women in the family and social status with the previous comparison, compulsory education in rural areas and girls by the content of the education proposals and views. Meanwhile, in the course of the investigation, also conducted a more in-depth observation and interviews. Mastered a lot of empirical material on the basis of existing research data, the paper summarizes some of the problems existing in China's compulsory education in rural girls: 1. Enrollment rate is low. 2 after enrollment to consolidate low, the high turnover rate. 3. Grade level in reading the number of girls with a decreasing. 4 large differences between urban and rural areas. The papers deal with the problems, focus on social reasons, family reasons, the reason three levels of the school a more systematic analysis. Paper also Government, parents, schools, proposed a number of strategies and suggestions in order to provide a reference for the reform and development of rural compulsory education.
