Abstract


Many patients with spine and spinal cord injury offen breathe with difficulty 、 have hemorrhage of lung and stomach ect. When we were studying spinal cord injury in experiment, we found that the experimental animals after spinal cord injury occurred hemorrhage of lung、 stomach and blade ect. About remote organic injury many experimental study of war wound injury of high speed matter were found, the hemorrhage of lung after spinal cord injury were not found, the mechanism, pathology and treatment of the lung injury after spinal cord injury were unknown. For The geol of this study was to investigate the mechanism, pathology and treatment of the lung injury after spinal cord injury, we posed to study the new task of the lung injury after spinal cord injury.The models of spinal cord injury were made with modified Allen methods in 40 rabbits and divided into control group and experimentalgroup. The control group were treated with dexamethasone , The experimental group were given equal physiological saline. The rabbits of spinal cord injury were killed for autopsy at different time and their lungs were observed pathologically, The data were analysed by statistics.Results: (D Different degrees of lung injury, with hemorrhage of lung(100%) occured after spinal cord injury. (2) The hemorrhage of lung which received treatment of dexamethasone was obviously slighter than that in experimental group. (P<0.01).The conclusion according to pathological and statistical analysis is : GX Spinal cord injury may result in the lung injury . (2\ The mechanism of lung injury is mainly the emergency reaction by nerve and body-fruid . (3\ Administration of dexamethasone in routine dosage may prevent and treat the lung injury after spinal cord injury.
