Abstract

National trade is an inalienable constituent of the state economic and an important disbursement program of domestic economic. The national trade issue directly relates to our country’s development of western China in the 21st Century and northeast revitalization strategy. Kezuohouqi is typical minority area for the main body of mogolian. The total population of the county is 39.81 million in 2006, which include 29.08 million mogolian and account 73.05% of total population. For many years, Kezuohouqi national trade income has been increasing, but its proportion in the domestic economy revenue shows a decreasing trend. This is the limitation of economic potentiality, the influence of historic tradition, and the restriction of government decision-making.The development of Kezuohouqi national trade is a historical process, which reflects the country and public’s support for national trade and embodies its policy options and the concept of the value. Therefore, through comparison and empirical research approach, the paper analyzes the process of national trade during the various stages of the history of the People’s Republic of China based on the interaction of market establishment,trade forms,retail sales of social consumer goods,commodity type or strcture,geographical scope and national trade development and explores internal dependencies about domestic trade of national trade and economic growth to reflect the stage characteristics and the inherent law of the pattern conversion about Kezuohouqi national trade. At the same time, this paper make policy recommendations for problems and influencing factors which are existing in the process of development of Kezuohouqi national trade in promoting economic growth. The paper mainly falls into the four parts:The fist part consists definition of the concepts related to national trade、minority economic and trade in ethnic areas、economic in ethnic areas. China’s national trade, to minority ethnic groups trade and trade in ethnic minority areas as the main objects of study, is the general term of activities and relations of domestic trade between the all nationalities and all ethnic regions and its border trade with foreign countries and foreign trade; then China ethnic economy, to minority ethnic groups economy and economy in ethnic minority areas as the main objects, is the general term of activities and relations of all nationalities、all ethnic regions and foreign.The second part, in accordance with the national science theory and analysis method, to the contry’s political and economic movements of the People’s Republic of China founded 58 years as the research background, describes the overall development process of Kezuohouqi mongolian trade (1949-2007), including official and public market evolution of national trade and national trade market establishment, features of market establishment,trade forms,commodity type or strcture,retail sales of social consumer goods,geographical scope.The third part, empirical analyzes the development of Kezuohouqi national trade. VAR model in the establishment, based on econometric analysis software by using cointegration test,Granger cause test,impulse response functions and variance decomposition analysis, reveals the inherently intrdependent and long-term equilibrium relationship of Kezuohouqi national trade.38.53607 rate of final national trade to affect economic growth, final national trade generated a huge stimulus for economic growth.The fourth part includes policy recommendations about promotion effects of Kezuohouqi national trade for economic growth. First, by clarifying the development process of national trade and the assessment of empirical analysis results, many problems in the develpoment course of Kezuohouqi national trade can be found, such as dropped national trade rate,single product structure,the lack of qualified person,imperfect national trade system and natural resources constraints and also analyzes the reasons for problems. Second, puts forward five policy recommendations from the regulation of national trade and investment structure,the industrial structure optimization,national education elaboration,deepen trade reform and improve the ecological environment to enhance the promoting role of Kezuohouqi national trade on economic growth, and provides historical reference and inspiration for the future reforms of national trade system and policy.
