The "Open Society" Theory’s Referential Meaning for the Political System Construction of Our Country

Abstract


Since the foundation of the People’s Republic of China, the political system construction of our country has gone through the preliminary-set-up period, the developing period using for reference of the Sovietism, twist period, the overall decline period in the Cultural Revolution, recovery and developing period since the Reform and Open-up of our country. In the thesis, the author starts with the macroscopically narration of the five stages, stands on the Marxist position, using western famous philosopher Karl.R.Popper’s thoughts of "open society", analyzing systematically the referential meaning for the political system construction of our country from Popper’s anti-totalitarian thoughts and his "piecemeal social engineering" thoughts, the CPC’s key position and leading role in the political system construction, further transition of idea and deepening of the political system construction, and so on.. In the thesis, the author points out that we have achieved much in the political system construction, but the constant-variable situation impels us continuing the political system construction. Because of this, using western advanced idea of the political system construction to overcome our mistaken idea, remedy the deficiency seems particularly essential. Certainly, the political system construction of our country should go on under the leadership of the Party, but the Party itself should strengthen the institutional improvement, improve the style of its leadership. Meanwhile, the promotion of the political system construction is closely related with the further liberation of our idea too. Only when we break the regular idea, will the era of overall the political system construction and innovation come.
