Abstract


Since India's independence in 1947 , the United States attaches great importance to relations with it . However, based on the different strategic objectives and national interests to consider , good times and bad relations between the United States and India . Especially 9.11 after George W. Bush took office , the United States began to adjust its policy in South Asia , and gradually improve and strengthen relations with India , it has also become an important part of the Asia policy . Because the United States and India share many common interests exist in terms of democracy, market economy and security cooperation , the two countries will continue to close ; but at the same time , the two sides of the U.S. policy towards India , India launched large country strategy and balanced diplomacy as well as in some other differences on specific issues , but also makes the development of Indo-US relations in the future can not be easy . US-India relations , China is a factor can not be ignored , which plays an important role , and their mutual relations and in which the position and influence , because the United States and India have important significance , so worth thinking about and research .
