Abstract


Vocational Interest Inventory and Holland used Levenson 's internality , powerful others and opportunities Scale (IPC), through stratified random sampling method selected 393 students, aims to explore different professions , gender , origin students locus of control and differences in career interests and characteristics , as well as the relationship between the two . The results showed that: 1 , the University of Professional Values ??: Students will be key consideration when choosing a career wages and benefits ; ability to give full play to their abilities ; work is stable and there is security, and other factors, and related occupations have higher social status and the more small working pressure less impact on college careers . Two college students career interests characteristics: ( a ) students in the vocational interests has gender differences. Artistic career interests with girls who were significantly more than boys . Boys have practical type and investigative career interests of people significantly more than girls . ( 2 ) Interest on vocational subjects with significant differences. More investigative science class students , the actual type of career interests . ( 3 ) Students from different sources significantly different career interests . Students from rural areas more practical type , investigative career interests . Career type job , from the city's students scored significantly higher than students from rural areas . 3 , students in the locus of control internality there are significant gender differences , male students scored significantly higher than female students. 4 , the internal locus of control college sex orientation and career interests proportional control , opportunities and career interests inversely proportional directional control .
