Abstract


This article is based on a reading of the cognitive point of view , the high school students' English reading strategies training an empirical study to study reading strategy training help to improve their English reading ability , in order to provide reference for English teachers and researchers the value of information . In this paper, Review and synthesis of past research , lists the theoretical basis of the Reading Strategies and different training modes , as the experimental model of Pearson and Dole reading strategy training mode . The experiments selected 16 of the Wenzhou high school sophomore two classes , one of the experimental class , another contrast classes , a two - semester experiment . Experimental class to strengthen the inference reading strategy instruction , compared to classes using the traditional English teaching mode . In contrast to the test results before and after the experiment , the experimental classes compared to contrast classes have been greatly improved in terms of overall English proficiency and reading level . Through this experiment , the authors also draw the conclusion of the pedagogy . In teaching high school English reading strategy training to improve students' reading ability has a positive meaning . Students at different levels because he was teaching, to take a different training methods .
