This paper focuses on the microcontroller as the core , to achieve automatic control system of medium and small hydropower station 's gate , and the gate control system hardware and software design . The control system with the ability to control gates and trash racks run state surveillance capability and a smooth opening and closing of the gate fast . In the CPU of choice , by considering the domestic application of the technology is more mature MCS-51 series microcontroller . Microcontroller small size , strong anti-jamming capability in the gate control system can be fully exploited . The overall structure of the gate control system uses a three-tier structure , the integrated management and control structure of the two-tier network to meet unattended, fewer people on duty hydropower development requirements . PROFIBUS field bus control levels at the production site , the system has a good reliability , scalability and interoperability . The gate control system regulating algorithm uses PID control algorithm and incremental PID control algorithm based on for gate operation characteristics , its improvements . The sensors are important components of the gate control system . This article focuses on the new development of the sensor in the digital age , and new sensor technology into the gate control system , in order to ensure the reliability of the system has laid a good foundation . The gate control system needs to complete the monitoring and control of the gate opening and closing operation of the gates and trash racks run state . Which necessarily involves data acquisition , operator adjustment , control output , arithmetic judgment , alarm , equipment protection , information and communications , and other functions . To achieve these functions , this paper carried out the appropriate hardware and software design , and draw a specific circuit . Finally, the software and hardware measures improve the gate control system anti-interference ability .
