Abstract


There are three main slurry for warp sizing , modified starch , polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and polyacrylic size . PVA slurry has excellent film forming and adhesion , excellent sizing properties of polyester / cotton blended yarn , once considered ideal slurry ; However, there are difficulties biodegradable desizing wastewater environmental pollution serious shortcomings . Thus preparing a slurry slurry workers has become a pressing task to replace PVA . This paper mainly discusses the the new grafted starch PVA an alternative and clean preparation process . Graft modified starch is a starch as raw material , and some other polymers is grafted in the macromolecular main chain , as the graft side chain is a polymer with excellent application performance , the graft main chain is a starch, thereby graft- denatured starch has excellent sizing performance and biodegradability , the best alternative of PVA slurry . The more the process of the preparation of graft starch , the subject Dry preparation process ; process low energy consumption , no sewage , simple post-processing is a relatively clean preparation process . First, the preparation process using dry cleaning , chemical initiator to initiator grafted starch slurry was prepared under the conditions , and the product was obtained by scanning electron microscopy and infrared spectroscopy tests confirmed grafted starch . Explore the reaction temperature test , triggering dose , reaction time , and the amount of grafted monomer on the grafting yield and grafting efficiency ; orthogonal design method designed test , grafted starch . Second the grafted starch degradation reaction (BOD 5 \\ COD cr ) test , and the test results were analyzed , draw grafted starch the slurry is a clean slurry . Finally, the different rate of graft grafted starch polyester / cotton single yarn sizing test . Also grafted starch obtained by the optimal preparation process , the combination of slurry and acid containing PVA amyloliquefaciens three slurry slurry performance , sizing and performance comparison test . Grafted Starches prepared by optimizing the preparation process parameters to meet the requirements of polyester / cotton blended yarn sizing , a large proportion of the result of the replacement of PVA .
