Abstract


With the development of the economic, people’s pursuit of art have achieved a higher level. More and more people showed great interest in music, especially in piano, which promote the development of education and training institutions in piano. The researcher made a deep and comprehensive research on the amateur piano education institutions, the current situation of teaching and the related activities in Zheng Zhou city, based on the research methods such as observations, questionnaires and interviews. According to the results of the investigation, the researcher found that though there is a speedy development in Zheng Zhou’s amateur piano education institutions, there still exist some problems. Based on the analysis of the researching results, the author approved some suggestions on how to optimize the amateur piano education, such as strengthen the supervision on training institutions, try to improve the education qualities of piano education and optimize the materials of education institutions. In the end of the paper, the author hopes that these suggestions could contribute to the development of the piano education in Zheng Zhou city, and could play a reference role on teachers and managements on amateur training institutions.
