In this paper, the effect of fabric structure on the performance of seamless sports underwear was studied. At first, the sports underwear、seamless underwear and seamless sports underwear were expounded from three aspects: the basic concept, characteristics and current research at home and abroad; at the same time, the performance requirements、commonly used materials and fabric structure of seamless sports underwear were analyzed. Then, cleancool、cooldry、coolplus、coolmax were chosen to knit 4 pieces of fabrics by the plain and N6 density in santoni machine and the performance of quick hydroscopic-diffusion-dry were tested. The methods of condensed mapping and functional evaluation value were adopted to comprehensively evaluate and analyze their function properties; cool-dry fiber is the best quick hydroscopic-diffusion-dry fiber. Then, the cool-dry was selected to knit 25 pieces of fabrics by plain、1+1 false rib、1+3 false rib、1+1 tuck、2+2 tuck and P15、P6、0、N6、N15. The performances of quick hydroscopic-diffusion-dry , air permeability, heat retention、tensibility and elastic recovery were tested. The methods of condensed mapping and functional evaluation value were adopted to comprehensively evaluate and analyze their function property in order to optimize the best fabric for seamless underwear, suitable for different kinds of outdoor sports. Finally, the best fabrics were 1+3false rib N15、2+2tuck P15、1+1false rib N6、plain P15. The results of the research can provide theory evidence and practical reference for the development and production of seamless sports underwear.
