Abstract


Predetermination and generation is a heated and important topic nowadays in the educators’circles. Since the traditional giving and accepting teaching—owing to the presence of the essentialismlist ways of thinking in the present teaching practice—is still adopted by many teachers, despite the fact that the new curriculum advocates the generation as a significant instructive ideal, it becomes the need of deepening the instructive reform to examine and direct the teaching practice with the basic spirit of the generative ways of thinking. And when it comes to the Chinese classic poetry, which contains rich ancient Chinese culture and logically the teaching of which should include a cultural vision, the void of the teaching objectives or lack of the effective predetermination of them have greatly affected the results of the classic poetry reading instructions, neglecting the students’cultural molding and their personality perfection. Generation is an essential property of the Chinese language teaching objectives, and of all the instructive factors, the effective generation of the teachers and students plays a main decisive role in the class instructive activities. In the view of this, this essay tries to examine the initiatives and creativity of teachers and students, from both the longitudinal section dimension of teaching and the perceptive construction dimension of learning, i.e. the effective teaching by the teachers and the effective learning by the students. And it also tries to analyze, with Gestalt theory, the effective predetermination and generation of the teaching objectives of classic poetry in senior high.
