Art,since ancient times,plays a significant impact to us. There are so many indications that human beings learned painting first, and then creating our characters. Hegel said that, art can be thought as the first teacher of humankind, because it embodies every nation, every age and social situation of the world. Art also plays a major role in the mental developing of human beings. From the young to the aged, it must be the painting not the characters, when you intend to write. It is also painting that exercises a great influence on our whole life.Even in the days that we are emphasizing the quality-oriented education, more and more attention is paid to the art education. Art gets used in the theoretical knowledge of every basic course, such as geography, politics and mathematics and so on, because of painting is more visual and intuitive. In cultivation side, it stresses cultural and intellectual aspects of teaching and training, rather than teaching a simple formulaic calculation, learning or imitation. Therefore, it helps to cultivate overall developed innovative talents.In July 2001, after the new curriculum was issued, a kind of new-type art education has developed all over the country. The new art education does not mean we completely overthrow the contents or theories we had taught before, but a succession of development and reform. Traditional means the past, the development means the future. Today is tomorrow’s past, so the traditional doesn’t mean to the total negation. In order to go beyond the traditional, beyond history, we must understand it first. Take "The Creation" and "new" for an example, they are originally the two unrelated words, but "innovation" is created when we put them together, however, we did not create a character. Therefore, more accurately speaking, innovation art education is the education of "summarizing the past" and "Reviewing the Old" .
