Abstract


We can unfold the study of the education towards college students’ideals and beliefs from different angles and layers. Based on the abundant practical experiences on the ideological and political education of college students and the study results that we have achieved, carrying out a study on current college students’ideals and beliefs education systematically and deeply of this article is an urgent need for ideological and political education as well as a necessary requirement for the construction of the subject and its theoretical development.The article regards current college students’ideals and beliefs education as a specialized study subject, and will unfold a comprehensive and systematic study theoretically and practically. The article illustrates several aspects: Firstly, the significance of enhancing college students’ideals and beliefs education; Secondly, major problems and causes that exist at the present stage of college students’ideals and beliefs education; Thirdly, the solutions of enhancing college students’ideals and beliefs education.The first part of the article deals with the role from the aspect of the core status that ideals and beliefs play in human beings’spiritual world; ideals and beliefs reflect the fundamental purpose and quality of ideals and beliefs education; that the effect of ideals and beliefs is an important standard of measuring whether ideological and political education fails or not expounded that ideals and beliefs education is a core content for the current college students’ideological education. From the aspect that ideals and beliefs education is the practical objective requirement for socialism construction with Chinese characteristics; ideas and beliefs education provides spiritual motive for our country and the ethnical groups; the providing of spiritual support for college students’healthy growing expounds ideals and beliefs education is an important guarantee for the healthy development of socialist construction with Chinese characteristics.The second chapter illustrates major problems and causes that exist in college students’ideals and beliefs education at the present stage, and analyzes the status quo of college students’ideological education. The main stream is good, but there exists a series of problems. And it also further discusses objective and subjective reasons towards ideals and beliefs education of college students.In the last chapter, the author writes a lot about the solutions of enhancing ideals and beliefs education of college students, and illustrates four aspects of innovation and improvement on ideals and beliefs education; to figure out the methods of ideals and beliefs education a new development; to forge ahead the innovation of ideals and beliefs education’s vector; to research and study, and to improve the aim towards ideals and beliefs education and expounds the issue of solving the problems existed in current ideals and beliefs education from the method layer systematically.The issue of college students’ideals and beliefs education is theoretical as well as practical. It is our firm belief that our study will provide references for those who devote themselves to the study of college students’ideals and beliefs education. Also, we believe that through our study, there will be an increasing number of people who will pay more attention to and get involved in college students’ideals and beliefs education.
