Abstract


Since the modern times, on Chinese painting debate is as one falls. On twentiethCentury, Chinese painting in particular controversy, and has gradually evolved intothe modern Chinese art and culture in the history of the important cultural phenomenaand trend of thought in literature and art.The fusion of Chinese and Western,as themodern Chinese painting reform train of thought, trying to open new.It from margin tomainstream and diversify. Due to the differences in social and political environment,the results also differ in thousands of ways. Artists face this problem, how tocontinuously carding, Chinese and Western painting differences in the process offinding fusion cut dot and breach. This article is for the purpose of twentieth Centuryduring the hundred years the Chinese painting debate carding or reinterpretation,anddiscussion on art theory and relevant problems. The exploration of the intrinsiccultural debate and influence, and further summarized their historical significance.
