Abstract

Aksu is one of the most active regions of association for the promotion activitiesof Uyghur culture. Xinjiang after in1934, establishment of Uyghur culture promotionassociation, under the leadership of Niyaz Sharipi, Aksu Uyghur culture promoteassociation has built in the Aksu initiate education, developed the news-art career，promote public welfare activities，improved people’s quality. However, about AksuUyghur culture to promote the activities of the branch in the Aksu area, the academiccircles has not yet research results come out,only has some incidental mention in thepapers or research monographs of scholars. Therefore, this paper studies this issue anddiscusses the activities of branch of Uyghur culture promotion association in Aksuarea and their influence on society.First part, described establishment background of Xinjiang Uyghur culturepromotes association and activities they executed and effect of to the society. Shengshi cai came to power, for soldiering his authority, executed the ‘progress’ policy,created the condition for development of education, facilitated establishment of AksuUyghur culture promote association in xinjiang. After establishment of Aksu Uyghurculture promote association carried out the educational, cultural undertakings andmade a significant contribution for educational and cultural undertakings of Xinjiang.Second part, mainly described the establishment of Aksu Uyghur culturepromote association, structures, leading figures and members, funding sources anduses etc. With the establishment of Uyghur culture promote Branch association inparts of Xinjiang; branch association has also built in Aksu prefecture in1934. Afterestablishment of Aksu branch association had sound organizational structure, andFormulated the strict membership requirements and "Oshre"and "zakat" serve asmajor source of funding is used for various expenses of the school Uyghurassociation has founded.Third part, mainly described the three phases of educational activities, charitableactivities, information dissemination activity stage, as well as cultural and artisticactivities, has been carried out Aksu branch association. Aksu branch association calls on people to donate the money, if you have; to donate power if you have it,At theaspects of setting up schools, carrying out charitable activities, rescuing orphans andpoor has done some work to solve the problems of the orphans lives and theireducation; Moreover, in order to adapt to trends in the development of education, butalso to carry out eradication of illiteracy, literary and artistic activities and in order tosave and develop endangered ethnic culture,they have done all the best they can.They establish backstage in the counties, developed the ethnic literature and art.Propaganda department of Aksu branch association also opened a library, presentedthe newspaper and magazine published by Uyghur association federation and forwardpaper published in Soviet Union to the people. Does the Aksu branch association notonly carry out the cultural education, art and literature, but also made a considerablecontribution for safeguarding the reunification of the motherland, strengtheningnational unity. Especially during the Anti-Japanese War, actively promote the peopleto support front-line of the war; with various means of Publicity conduct donatingmoney and goods activities for the anti-Japanese front-line. Aksu Uyghur culturepromotes association also organize Propaganda department, in the city and countycarry out propaganda work, enhance the consciousness people’s love for themotherland and love Xinjiang.The fourth part mainly introduces the historical role and limitations of AksuUyghur culture promote association. Although Aksu Uyghur cultures promoteassociation itself exists some problems, such as cultural and educational activitiesshortage of teachers and funds、the control of religious force. from the1934to1950,Aksu Uyghur culture promote association had carry out cultural education、reliefvulnerable groups、develop literature art career, train many talents, many of themplayed an important role in the liberation war and the great cause of building a newChina and Xinjiang. Therefore, the research on Aksu Uyghur culture promoteassociation has important historical value and practical significance.
