Abstract


With the development of port economy, the relationship between a port and the city and urban economy is very close. The port is not only promoting urban economic development but also the urban city’s economic development. Meanwhile, the development of urban economy supports a strong force for port development. Since the reform and opening up, the construction of ports in China has made great achievements. Level of development of the port has become the measure of a country or region’s economic development is one important indicator. Therefore, a study on port development and the relationship between urban economic development is necessary. Dalian as an important port city in Northeast China, Dalian Port, and to achieve coordinated development of urban economic development in Northeast Asia in Dalian important international shipping center and revitalization of old industrial bases in Northeast China are of great significance.This paper describes the concept of port-related and urban economic theory, and then introduces the port of the city’s economic development impact and the city of port economic development role, port and city economic interaction and port-city relationship coordination strategy. And then introduces the port on the impact of urban economic development and urban economic development role of the port. Then as the research object of Dalian Port, Dalian Port and its hinterland, introduced the city’s economic situation. Through the analysis of Dalian port and its port city’s economic, introduce Dalian Port and its economic. Port and the port city between the quantitative analysis of economic indicators, according to the related statistical data analysis, come to the port and the hinterland of urban economic relationship between the specific data and then analyze the economic development of the two affect each other respectively and the specific values. Through a series of analysis and calculation, and then the port city’s economic development indicators and indicators of the specific interaction between, the degree of interaction.
