Rumor is an unconfirmed information, with its spreading accountsfor a pretty normal phenomenon during the information spread activities.With the development of modern society, there is an increased need ofinformation for people in society. Nevertheless, rumors have beenamong plentiful information with which people would be contacting indaily lives, threatening society from advancement, corrupting societyfrom civilization, infecting social stability, being dangerous to humanspirit, with a serious harm cannot be underestimated. The informationspread speed is accelerated by the exist of internet, so is for the rumorspread speed. The high frequency of crisis and its rumors, especially formodern society, spread rapidly in audience with the help of internetspreading. Since the main internet media is the most popular source forpeople getting information, that is why we would focus on how wouldthe main internet media deal with the rumor spreading of the crisis issue.This paper sums up the strategies the national main internet media adoptto deal with the rumor spreading in internet crisis, by concluding theinternet rumor spreading process, analyzing the effects from internetrumor spreading, and the function of main internet media when dealingwith internet rumors, plus the combination of real case analysis.
