Abstract


As is known to all, project production has its specificity, which is called "producing after trading". Also for a certain project, each project-related unit has its own culture. In this situation, project management culture is required. Being a special kind of culture itself, project management culture has aroused more and more attention from experts in the industry and professors in the academia. But many people are not concerned about the culture of project management. They consider that project management culture is a vague thing and have no real economic value. In order to help all project-related units achieve the same goal in a project, project management culture needs to be formed.This article describes the history and current status of the project management first, makes a detailed description of the basic concepts of project management. Next, it explains several important indicators of the cultural construction of the project management. The project management appearance culture is the most basic and most surface material form displayed the project management culture and consist of a variety of products and equipment create by all project members work; The project management system culture is the standardization and code of project management, operation, maintenance, and other acts and rules, and the cultural limit the project personnel conduct in order to achieve the goals of the project management; Spiritual culture of project management is a synthesis of project management philosophy, values and moral standards; The culture of project management behavior is the activities culture of generated by the project managers in the project operation, management and learning; The culture of the project management safety is a synthesis of security awareness, security objectives, security responsibilities, the sum of the security literacy, safety habits, security technology, security facilities, safety supervision and a variety of safety rules and regulations.And then, it analyses the effect of the project organization and management to the project management culture.Finally, the direction of innovation of the project management culture construction is proposed.
