Abstract


Objective: To study tumor metastasis related gene 1 ( MTA1 ) and tumor metastasis suppressor gene KISS - 1 protein in gastric carcinoma and its clinical significance . Methods: 82 patients with gastric adenocarcinoma collected in our hospital archived paraffin blocks for the experimental group , and the other 20 cases of gastric ulcer or duodenal ulcer surgical specimens away from the ulcerative lesions of gastric mucosa of the control group , the experimental group and the control group specimens 5 each made ??of tissue sections using immunohistochemistry PV9001 detected by gastric tissue of 82 patients with gastric cancer and 20 cases of the control group MTA1 and KISS - 1 expression levels . Results: (1 ) all tissue sections in immunohistochemical staining organizations a clear positive signal , background clean . ( 2 ) The positive expression rate of MTA1 and KISS - 1 protein in gastric tissue of 20 cases of the control group were 5.00% (1/ 20) and 90.00% ( 18/20) , expression rates were positive in 82 cases of gastric cancer tissues 52.44% ( 43 /82) and 40.24 % ( 33 / 82 ) ; MTA1 expression in the nucleus , some cytoplasmic positive reaction , brownish- yellow granular ; KISS - 1 immunohistochemical staining positive signals were located in the cytoplasm brownish yellow granules the chromogenic tan . ( 3 ) MTA1 protein expression in gastric depth of invasion , histological grade , clinical stage, lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis -related ( p lt ; 0.05 ) ; age , gender, tumor size was no correlation ( p GT ; 0.05 ) ; KISS - 1 protein low expression in gastric cancer invasion depth , clinical stage, lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis - related ( p lt ; 0.05 ) ; with age, gender , tumor size , histological grade was no correlation ( p GT ; 0.05 ) ; gastric carcinoma MTA1 and KISS - 1 protein expression was negatively correlated ( gammaS = -0.364 , p lt ; 0.01 ) Conclusion : ( 1 ) MTA1 expression in the nucleus , the part of the cytoplasmic positive reaction , KISS - 1 immunohistochemical staining positive signals in the cytosol . ( 2 ) the level of MTA1 protein expression and KISS - 1 protein low level of expression of tumor invasion and metastasis , can be used as a reference index for gene therapy of gastric cancer is expected to become a new target for diagnosis of patients with gastric cancer metastasis and recurrence and prognosis .
