Abstract

The movie is one of the most influential media, the film led to the development of the continuous development of film language. Since the invention of sound film, sound has become an indispensable part of film language. In the movie, the sound effect is achieved through dialogue between the characters. Therefore, the study of character dialogue, not only helps to understand the thrust of the movie thinking, but also to find the character dialogue language features. Most of the domestic movie dialogue from the language angle, mainly aims to analyze its relationship with the Characters in shaping the terms of the study the voices. From the perspective of the discourse function of movie dialogue research articles are still rare. The guidance of the famous Jewish director Spielberg shot the classic movie \bit structure, thematic progression mode, information structure and cohesion theory as the main theoretical framework to analyze it, studied discourse features in the movie dialogue. Author by reading the movie \Use Halliday's thematic structure theory, information theory and convergence theory, detailed analysis of the character dialogue discourse features, the following conclusions: 1. Promote the mode of use of the study found that the thematic structure and theme, individual Thematic Thematic Structure and Theme markedness unified propulsion mode in the movie dialogue spend more, which is in line with the characteristics of spoken language. Study the use of the information structure found unmarkedness information structure in the use of more movie dialogue, the marker information structure also account for a large proportion; people use the tone and accent to emphasize something or something, thus highlighting the Information Center. 3. Convergence theory applied research found that more the convergence method refers and repeated use in the Dialogues. 4. Discourse function, so a better understanding of the movie keynote to understand the characteristics of film language, so as to deepen the understanding of film discourse. This paper discusses the theory of functional grammar in movie dialogue discourse practice study extends these theories complement and extend some of the previous movies Discourse Studies.
