Abstract

Nations and Nationalism, today's political science, philosophy, and other multi-disciplinary, multi-field issues of common concern. Nationalism as an ideological trends and social movements have a profound impact on national development and international relations of the countries in the world. Nationalism in the history of the world, by virtue of its strong influence and appeal, and promote the success of the Western European nation-state building. In Chinese history, nationalism is in the minority in the invasion of foreign powers in a life or death on the occasion. Whether the anti-imperialist and anti-feudal bourgeois movement, or in the period of socialist revolution and socialist construction, Chinese nationalism as a great magic power, played the cohesion of the people, and enhance the sense of national identity and safeguard national unity a major role. In a globalized world, the peoples of the world through exchanges in the political, economic and cultural fields increasingly close Chinese nationalism gradually shows its historical limitations facing many challenges from theory and practice. If handled properly between Chinese nationalism and economic globalization, the relationship between Chinese nationalism and socialist construction, will directly impede the progress and development of China's socialist cause. Therefore, under the new situation of globalization sweeping the world, we must be proactive Marxist theory to guide the development of Chinese nationalism to patriotism, hegemonic struggle with the domestic separatist forces and international hostile forces, to promote China nationalism to rational, moderate and open direction, to become an important resource to promote the development of a harmonious socialist society. Chinese nationalism in the context of globalization, is divided into six parts elaborated, which The body content accounted for four parts. In the fourth section, I put forward the corresponding countermeasures for Chinese nationalism face of domestic and international challenges and for scholars of Chinese nationalism possible future path of development, to guide Chinese nationalism with Marxist theory development to the patriotism, the establishment of the Chinese nation, rational, moderate and open nationalism, thus promoting the building of a harmonious society at home and abroad, and the ultimate realization of China's peaceful rise.
