Abstract


Brahms’s "first symphony" called Beethoven’s "Tenth Symphony", thehistory of many important musicians are carefully analyzed Brahms’ssymphony that affected Brahms’s Symphony creation by Beethoven. Thispaper tries to analyze the two composers symphony works to explore howBrahms inherited Beethoven’s writing techniques and the development ofits.This paper is divided into two chapters, the first chapter is the mainpart of this paper, the analysis of Brahms inherited the orchestrationstyle of Beethoven period and the two composers in the use of orchestraltechnique are detailed. Application of second chapter respectively fromthe theme motive processing, harmony, polyphony are sweepinggeneralizations, describes the two composers.
