Abstract


In the world today, with the accelerating of economic globalization and integrationprocess, the economic development of our country faces both the opportunities andchallenges.The competition between countries is gradually showed by the competition ofinnovation ability, the competition is embodied in the economic individual in the units ofthe enterprise, and reflected in the regional aggregation form in the units of the industrialcluster. Industrial cluster must pay attention to innovation for its development and realizethe transformation and upgrading.Enterprises as an important part of industrial clusters, the development of industrialclusters is the comprehensive reflection of the interaction development of enterprises inthe cluster on the macro level and the upgrading of industrial cluster is bound to affect thedevelopment of the enterprises in the cluster.Therefore, the research on the problems ofindustrial cluster upgrading how to influence the development of enterprises in the cluster,the role of innovation on industrial cluster upgrading effecting enterprise performance, isof great significance for the improvement of enterprise performance in our country andeven the whole country’s economic development. Based on this, the paper discusseed themechanism of industrial cluster upgrading within the enterprise performance from theperspective of innovation.First, the paper combed theorys on industrial cluster and upgrading of industrialcluster, innovation and enterprise performance, defined the concept of industrial clusterupgrading and enterprise performance, summarized the close relationship betweenindustrial cluster,industrial cluster upgrading and enterprise performance, summarized therole of innovation in industrial cluster upgrading and the impact of innovation on firmperformance.Second, the questionnaire was designed, and then item analysis, factor analysis,reliability analysis,which provided reliable data and questionnaire for the followingempirical analysis. Again, the paper analyzed the proposed hypothesis by intermediary effect analysisand structural equation model analysis, from which we can know the effects of industriacluster upgrading on business performance, and the role of innovation on industrial clusterupgrading effecting enterprise performance.Finally, the paper took tangshan ceramic industry cluster as an example, analyzingthe key role of innovation on the upgrading of industrial cluster and the improvement ofenterprise performance.
