Abstract


In today’s society, the economy tends to be global and the competition gets fiercer. Thesupply chain becomes an indispensable component for the companies who want to strengthen itspower and be invincible in the market competition. And the suppliers in the supply chain areindispensable links. Therefore, enterprises attach more and more importance to the evaluation ofsuppliers. They optimize their supplier evaluation system ceaselessly according to the marketand economic change. So as to make the supply operation more smooth and sharpen theircompetitive ability after constructing supplier evaluation index system.Iron and steel industry is a pillar industry of the national economy. As one of the importantIron and steel enterprises, T company’s choice of suppliers is essential. This article is based oninvestigation and analysis of T company when the long-term practice work have been done. Themain purpose is constructing a more scientific and reasonable supplier evaluation system andproposing suggestions and countermeasures, after reviewing the domestic and foreign referenceabout supplier evaluation research. The ultimate aim is to construct a whole supplier evaluationsystem for T company.Firstly, this paper comprehensively analyzes the domestic and abroad research on thesupplier evaluation. At the same time, this research summarizes and analyzes the related theoryand method. It is confirmed that the fuzzy hierarchy comprehensive evaluation method issuitable for T company supplier evaluation system evaluation. Aftermath, the paper analyzes thecurrent situation in T company and it especially analyzes the T company supplier evaluation.The shortcomings is found out and the improvement is implemented. The paper proposescorresponding principles and steps, so as to establish the evaluation system by refer to relatedliterature. The evaluation model for T company is established according to the fuzzy hierarchycomprehensive evaluation method. And the feasibility of this method is demonstrated by anexample. Finally, The paper proposes the corresponding suggestions and countermeasures forthe problems which exist in the T company’s suppliers according to current situation of Tcompany and the characteristics of the iron and steel industry.
