Abstract


Objective:To explor the expression of a noval inhibitor of apoptosis gene Survivin and nuclear proliferation antigen Ki-67 in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma and its relationship with clinicopathological features.Methods:The expression of Survivin and Ki67 was detected by immunohistochemical S-P methods in 46 cases of ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma and 15cases of cystadenoma.The correlation between the expression Survivin,Ki-67 and clinical stage,histological grades in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma were analyzed.Results:1.The positive rate of Survivin was 84.8%and 26.7%(P＜0.05) in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma and cystadenoma,respectively..2.The positive rate of Ki-67 was 78.3%and 20.0%(P＜0.05) in serous cystadenocarcinoma and cystadenoma,respectively.3.The expression of Survivin and Ki-67 was related with histological grade and clinical stage (P＜0.05,P＜0.01) in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma.4..There was positive correlation between Survivin and Ki-67 expression(r=0.364,P＜0.05) in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma.Conclusion:1.High expression of Survivin may be related with the occurrence and progression of ovarian carcinoma,and it may be a new target for treatment of ovarian carcinoma.Ki-67 is a important marker for differentiated diagnosis in benign/malignancy and degree of malignant ovarian tumors.2.Combined examination of Survivin and Ki-67 is a important parameter for diagnosis, evaluating the prognosis and degree of malignancy in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma.
