Abstract


In the information process, study on the introduction of XML when implementing data integration and sharing research is hot now. Network development arouse cut-throat competition, in order to improve the competitiveness of enterprises, personalize service is valued more and more because it reflects diversity of users. Current heterogeneous data integration systems can achieve integration goal to certain extent, and also can supply data reflecting diversity of users when different users use the data. But in most cases, these systems provide service reflecting diversity of users only when customers act as users, they don’t allow customers play a leading role when supplying data. In addition, current research of personalize service focuses on providing users with correct content, and ignores the personalization of data presentation.By the research of XML-based data integration and personalize service, the thesis provides a method of implementing user-driven data sharing. It achieves not only standardized access of user’s data based on XSLT, but also the personalized presentation based on mapping between user’s metadata and standard metadata. This thesis has two contributions:(1) Introducing synonyms table to support automatic matching between nodes of two DOM tree. Based on the mappings received from matching, it can implement automatically standardization from user’s metadata to standard metadata, avoid inconvenience when users standardize their data for sharing, reduce the artificial participation, make the intelligent of system improved, and allow joining new data source flexibly.(2) Personalized presentation of data. Based on the mappings from standardization procedure, and XSLT, it can provide different user with data described differently, reflect diversity of users, and improve their experience.This thesis also solves the following problems: defining the standard schema of data center and the conditions; defining the reduction algorithm of raw DOM tree to get the user defined schema; defining the algorithm of creating XSLT patterns to support the procedure of creating XSLT Style Sheet, which is based on the mappings between user’s metadata and standard metadata; providing users with the function of creating mappings manually, etc.In the end, the thesis shows the prototype system through the project "Agricultural Spatial Information Shared Components Based on Web Service", and proves the feasibility of the method.In short, introducing synonyms table to support automatic matching of nodes makes the standardization completed automatically, enhances the intelligent and flexibility of system. The method is convenient for users to supply their data. Using mappings to support the personalized presentation of data improves users’ experience.
