Abstract


With the development of computer technique, the calculator assistance design(CAD), the calculator assistance engineering(CAE) get the extensive application in the region of casting production. How to use the calculator assistance design technique scientific and reasonable, develop the casting process CAD system which our work need is main purpose of this article.This thesis analyzed the actuality and trend about the casting process CAD , combining the aerospace foundry product need, develop the casting process CAD system by the powerful function of ObjectARX and the virtual of developing tools(C++).This thesis introduces the development about AutoCAD menu and the sketch database ,the setting about diagram layer、line type and painting environment which in the development process about casting process CAD system. According to the basic contents of casting process design, which usually contains designs of parting surface、draft、core、casting system、riser system and cold iron, complete the design and the development to casting process CAD system.Casting process CAD system can help users to make technological planning according to elected scientific process design method.Instead of a processing engineer,a computer program solves complicated calculating problems and inquiring problems about a large number of process data to make technological planning more scientific and more reasonable.It improves design quality and design efficiency,shortens the developing period for new products.
