Abstract


The global low-carbon economies develop rapidly. Under this background,China is facing great pressure from the international society to reduce the rapid increasing consumption of energy and the emission of CO2. As a great export country ,China has a considerable proportion of domestic emissions producing for the demand of overseas. This article makes studies about this.This article is based on consulting pertinent literature of domestic and abroad. Firstly, it theoretically analyses the environment influence of exporting trade, especially from the aspect of scale、structure and technology. Secondly, under considering the importing intermediate products this paper uses the input-output method to analyze the total quantity、industries and district distribution of the CO2 emission through export trade. Lastly, this paper establishes LMDI factor decomposition method to analyze the technical、structure and scale factors affecting the CO2 emission in export trade .The conclusions got from theoretical research and empirical analysis in this paper are as following: （1） Both domestic and foreign emissions are magnifying, China decreases the emissions by using the foreign intermediate products. The CO2 emissions embodied in china export trade is 27.56 million tons in the year 2007. Among the emissions, 22.04 million tons are discharged in our own country for exporting products using the domestic intermediate products. And the remaining 5.52 million tons are discharged abroad for using the foreign intermediate products;（2）The CO2 emissions rate and export rate of ten high carbon industry, which contains the electric and heat product and supply industry、nonmetallic mineral industry、metallurgy and calendering industry、petroleum processing coking and nuclear fuel processing、chemical industry、coal exploiting and washing select industry and metal products processing industry, are both increasing, China has been immigrant country of the ten high carbon industries;（3） Because the exporting structure、industries energy efficiency and cleaning product technologies of eastern district are higher than the average level of the whole country, that making the eastern district’s emission rate low than its exporting rate. In the year 2002, the eastern district’s emission of CO2 in export trade is 9.24 million tons, which occupy 89.57% of the whole nation emission of CO2 in export trade; （4） Technology effect decreases CO2 emissions embodied in export trade, scale and structure effect increase emissions. During 2005-2007, the falling of emission intensity decreases 597 million tons CO2 emissions embodied in export trade, but the increase of the trade scale and the continued deteriorating trade structure offset the positive effect of the technology advance, which makes the emissions of CO2 embodied in export trade increase 376 million tons.Lastly, through the analysis and research of the preceding, this article pertinently bring forward such methods and measures which can decrease the emissions of CO2 in export trade as: adjusting the energy consumption structure and improving the energy efficiency; improving the industry structure and exert reduction structure effect; improving the export trade structure and reducing the export of high carbon industry; adopting advanced techniques and introducing the cleaner production system, and so on.
