Abstract


Community correction reflects the criminal policy of temper justice with mercy. In recent years, the total amount of the crime in our country has not decline. But the specific circumstances of offenders there have some change. According to the change of situations, it is very important to give full play to the punishment methods and the execution system, which our country has already adopted. Also we should stir up the enthusiasm of all parties, impel each one doing his own job and serving other people. Therefore, of community correction system to study and to the actual use, there will be a great practical and theoretical value."Criminal law amendment (8)" enters into force on May 1, 2011, and the legal position of community correction has been very clear. The significance cannot be underestimated: first of all, it responded to the international community of the socialization of requirements from the criminal legislation on powerful spirit; Second, it established the supplement each other’s two big correction system; Furthermore, it promoted the rationalization of the structure of the punishment; At the same time, it also urged auxiliary legislation of community correction introduced as soon as possible; Finally, the right of to the execution will be promoted more unified. For this reason, the author using his status in the first line of correction discussed the connotation, denotation and history of the community correction. Besides, the author discussed the existing problems and solutions of the community correction in the horizon of criminal policy, in order to perfect the implement of the community correction.
