Abstract


Performance legitimacy refers to the political parties and the government to improve the people 's living standards by improving the achievements , to meet the basic needs of people development , to get the recognition and support of the majority of the people of their regime . In a particular historical context , the the performance legitimacy strategic choice has a certain rationality and effectiveness . However, relying solely on the the performance legitimacy to pursue its long-term stability of the political system is not enough , and will lead to the achievement dilemma , a crisis of legitimacy . Governments are seeking to consolidate its legitimacy base an effective way to resolve the the achievements predicament and the crisis of legitimacy , governance theory born out . Government performance evaluation as an important tool of governance , \and enhanced performance legitimacy basis for an effective way .
