Abstract


Mural is a kind of environment art. It includes the meanings of both special environment of the archi-tectural environment and general social environment. Social environment is the foundation of their existence and development, also the inner qualities. Based on macro environment, social environment murals, up from the both space and time dimensions of the social environment, comb mural, hidden in the back analysis with the relationship between social environment murals, from the "system", "demand" and "function" and analyses some murals and social environment, the relationship exists to illustrate the murals significance of social environment.This article is divided into four parts.Introduction part briefly discusses the background of the article views and domestic study situation.The first chapter firstly clears the definition of "mural environment". And discuss the mural environment characteristics from two aspects. Murals have many of the comprehensive breadth, permanency of double aspects. The adaptability of the audience and improves the metaphor of extensibility. From the time aspect, along with the development of history, the murals show different appearances:Ancient totem, Mysterious worship, Religious world, Secular, Decoration and diversified developed modern mural paintings.The second chapter discusses the mural and social environment is mutual relations based on the understanding of murals. Social environment has the relationships both with "system" and" demand" from the political and economic level. And mural of Social Consciousness level has the strong "functional" relationship of the environment. The paper tries to discuss from the perspective of sociology murals have the relationship of "system" and "demand" and "function" with social environment. Understand the "system" in political level, demonstrates the meaning of mural social "system" limits the mural creation, Understanding the meaning of "Demand" in economic production level, the analysis of the general and special murals production. Based on the meanings of social cultural has established "function" on the society, this article analysis the mural function in logic of creation purpose, deepen our understanding of the function of murals social significance.The third chapter is the backtracking and thinking of prospects. Based on the first two chapters and based on the understanding of the situation of Chinese murals, this article argues that "system" needs demands perfect the market mechanism, the multi-level of "Demand" needs a combination with marketing, the enhancement of "Function" and the tendency of fresco multiplication.
