Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of Yangyin Yizhong decoction on treating Weakness of the spleen and damp-heat stasis Syndrome of Chronic Atrophic Gastritis (CAG),in order to provide an effective drug of treating CAG.Methods:Choose 59 patients in the Secondary Hospital of Fuzhou City diagnosed with Chronic Atrophic Gastritis (Lack of stomach yin).All the cases are divided into two groups: the treatment group has 30 cases and the control group has 29 cases.There were no significant difference(P>0.05) in sex,age,course, symptoms,signs, gastroscoptic and pathological changes, HP infection rate between two groups.The treatment group was given Yangyin Yizhong decoction two times per day with one pack each time,the control group was given Mo-Luo-Dan three times per day with two pellet each time.three months is one course of treatment. Symptoms,signs,gastroscoptic and pathological changes of each group were observed before and after one course of treatment including HP-cleaning rate.Results:1.the curative effect of Symptoms and signs:the treatment group was better(p<0.05)than the control group in improving stomach ache, stomach epigastic upset,stools abnormality,tongue presentations, but was equal(p>0.05) in improving gastric distention, Diet reduced, debilitation, Nauseated and retching,dry mouth, anomaly complexion.3.the curative effect of gastroscope:the treatment group was much better(p<0.05) than the control group.4.the curative effect of pathology:the treatment group was better(p<0.05) than the control group in improving the pathological change of atrophy,but was equal(p>0.05) in improving the pathological change of intestines metaplasia, intraepithelial neoplasia,inflammation.5. HP-cleaning rate therapeutic equivalence(p>0.05).Conclusions:1. Yangyin Yizhong decoction can improve patients’clinical symptom obviously and improve patients’ living quality.2. Yangyin Yizhong decoction can obviously improve patients’ mucous membrane under gastroscope, and improve or step down histology deterioration.3. Yangyin Yizhong decoction has no obviously side effects discovered in the treatment.
