Abstract


Secondary vocational and technical education reform and development of walking down the highway on the rapidly advancing new century, in a surge in demand for highly qualified technical personnel social development context, secondary vocational and technical education, personnel training must conform to the social production demand, relative to the skills development better determine individual deep healthy psychological culture of sustainable development more and more the attention of the society and the school. As the core elements of the mental health, self-esteem is the individual self has an important influence on the person's cognitive, emotional and behavioral aspects that affect a person's level of mental health is also an important aspect. This study on the basis of the survey, presented a theoretical conception of vocational students academically with a sense of self-worth, and by the to collect students of the city's exam results, combined with Professor Huang Xiting such as the preparation of the \Lianyungang City, four vocational schools, high school students conducted a survey of 390 valid questionnaires were obtained. The study results show that: 1. Secondary vocational school students generally lack of life ambition, but a strong sense of identity. In the sense of the value and contribute to a sense of social and others are not confident tendencies, low self-sense of morality. 2. Secondary vocational school girls self-esteem than boys. More relative to boys and girls feel their social value and contribution to the family. 3. Secondary vocational school single admissions sense of self-worth is lower than the rank of junior college students. Although the post of junior college students into the lower school scores, but the sense of value is subjective and relative feelings, no matter in what kind of environment is to be able to feel better than the people in their own circles, the sense of self-worth. 4. Secondary vocational school students' academic achievement and self-esteem was mostly a significant positive correlation. Honors sense of self-worth is higher than an average student, the Average - sense of self-worth is higher than poor students. 5 due to the characteristics of different courses, the students' sense of self-worth individual factor relevant academic achievement in secondary vocational school students in various disciplines. In view of the above findings, in order to enhance the effectiveness of teaching of secondary vocational school education to help students form a good sense of self-worth, this study makes the following recommendations: 1. Encourage students to treat self-objective. To actively control self-appreciation of self and purpose. Students correctly treat the learned professional and cultural studies, and to improve students' confidence in their own ability to contribute to society. 3. Strengthen academic education and evaluation of students learning anything, to improve confidence.
