Abstract


The manufacturing sector the most important pillar industry of the national economy of a country, is also an important manifestation of national productivity. Manufacturing industry occupies a pivotal position in our country as it has become the driving force behind the core of China's national economy and industrialization, China's economic growth engine. Since the reform and opening up, China's manufacturing industry has a significant development, regardless of the manufacturing industry total level of manufacturing technology have greatly improved. At present, the number of the manufacturing sector accounted for 91% of all enterprises in China, accounted for 86% of revenue, accounted for 73% of profits; constant prices of 1995 and 2003, 14.53% average annual growth rate of manufacturing output in China, manufactured in 2004 industry output value of about 12.27 trillion yuan; manufacturing value added accounted for 2.9% of the world rose to 13.2% in 2007 from 1992, ranked second only to the United States 20%. Although China's manufacturing industry is entering a period of rapid development, but an objective analysis of the development of China's manufacturing industry is not difficult to find, our country can only be called a big manufacturing country, from the manufacturing power, there is a long section of the road to be away. Compared with the United States, Japan, Europe and other manufacturing powerhouse, China's manufacturing industry is the apparent lack of core competitiveness, at a low level in the world manufacturing chain. According to the theory of core competitiveness, the core competitiveness of enterprises to maintain a source of sustainable competitive advantage, it is the primary means to improve the competitiveness of China's manufacturing. Therefore, cultivate and enhance the core competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry has a crucial importance. In this paper, China's manufacturing industry as the research object, using a combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis method based on intellectual property strategy theory and core competence theory, theory and practical study of the competitive position of our manufacturing, systems analysis determinants and the basic conditions for the formation and development of the manufacturing industry core competitiveness, and strive to explore effective path to cultivate the core competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry. This paper begins with a brief review of the main points of the theory of core competitiveness genre at home and abroad, from which summarized the meaning and characteristics of the manufacturing industry core competitiveness; then analyzes the status quo of China's manufacturing core competencies and key issues theoretically explained the significance of the core competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry development. Secondly, the article describes the basic theory of the intellectual property rights and intellectual property strategy, and discusses in detail the relationship of intellectual property strategy and manufacturing core competitiveness, while the use of principal component analysis to identify the factors that affect the core competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry the main factors, clearly the implementation of intellectual property strategy is critical and effective way to improve the core competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry. Then for the intellectual property rights of China's manufacturing industry is facing the grim situation, the article focuses on intellectual property strategy, patent strategy, brand strategy and trade secrets strategy, focusing on the analysis of China's manufacturing industry is how to cultivate the core competitiveness of enterprises in the implementation of intellectual property strategy force. Finally, through the analysis of the the Chery company's intellectual property strategy in the nurture and enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises, from the illustration of angle, with emphasis on China's manufacturing industry should be to cultivate and enhance the core competitiveness through the implementation of intellectual property strategy.
