Abstract

Mining parks, with value of research and educational functions, for people to enjoy scenery, scientific investigation and knowledge, are seemed as particular areas, which display mining remains landscape, and reflect content of mining history. Mining parks, as new parks’model in recent years, restored mining environment, protected heritage and promoted mining enterprises and urban sustainable development in line with concept of "green mining”. Both the end of the pre-mining and tourism industry of high-level structure are linked, so cycle of exhausted mines can be continued to achieve conversions from" the end of treatment" to" cleaning production" and development of circular economy. As a new thing in the tourism industry, mining parks with mining remains and tourist landscape, at the minimal environmental costs, achieve greater ecological, economic and social benefits. China has approved 61 National Mine Park, coal mining parks account for nearly 1 / 3 in two groups, as China owns a coal power. Building mining park is currently in full swing and there is not complete system of theory and practice. To explore potential directions or building model of mining parks is main purpose for this study.After a brief introduction on the general situation of the mining park of China, this paper elucidated the definition, classification, distribution and significance of construction, highlighted type features of coal Mining Park such as coal culture, probed into relationship between coal mines’development and formation of mining remains, and summarized main problems during construction of the type of park. With this understanding, it introduced circular economy theory to guide construction mode of the park, analyzed contents, principles and theoretical basis of circular economy. Experience of circular economy development abroad gave impetus to formation of coal mining parks. On different aspects of circular economy, coal mining park is identified as small-scale circular economy, and recycling economy of the third industry. Then based on "Trinity" of environment, society and economy, systematic construction model of mining park can be found from environment recovery and updated land, which are subject to "ecosystem evolution", "industrial structure to optimize" and "social interests to maintain" together to promote sustainable development of circular economy in mining park. On this basis, ten building models of coal Mining Park under three frameworks were probed into and technical system was proposed to support them. At last, a case study was taken into consideration as demonstration. By systematically analyzing construction status of Kailuan mining park ,as strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, and taking full advantage of historical development of Kailuan mining process and core mining heritage tourism resources, a thorough understanding of distribution and surrounding area around park laid the foundation for selecting which construction mode of coal mining park. New strategies for construction modes of Kailuan mining park and methods of implementation were brought forward after systematic analysis.
